The bike is powered by state-of-the-art lithium batteries hidden invisibly inside the frame, which can be acitvated by simply pressing the trigger on the handlebars. After only a 45 minute charge, the Faraday Porteur will have you feeling like you’re riding the best tailwind you ever had — anywhere you go and for a rather long period of time (up to 15 unassisted miles). Whether you’re a commuter, a techy, design/bike lover, aging baby boomer or simply goddamned lazy, there are many reasons why the Faraday Porteur would appeal to you. The project will be funded if at least $100,000 is pledged by August 11th.
